We seek an exceptionally organised, professional bilingual Executive Assistant who can work well to tight deadlines. You must possess highly developed communication, computer and interpersonal skills. Duties include secretarial and administrative assistance, functions and travel coordination, editing database entries and arranging programs in a busy Embassy environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise are a must. Cross cultural sensitivity and superior written and spoken Japanese and English skills are essential.

Consular Office

The Consular Section at the Australian Embassy Tokyo is seeking a highly motivated bilingual person, with exceptional interpersonal skills, for the position of Consular Officer.  The successful candidate must be able to provide effective and efficient consular services to Australian citizens visiting and residing in Japan, including the management of complex consular cases and issue of Australian passports.
