To members of the Australian and New Zealand communities in Japan:
The New Zealand and Australian Ambassadors wish to announce that an ANZAC Day Memorial Service will be held at the Commonwealth War Cemetery, Hodogaya, Yokohama on Monday 25 April 2022 commencing at 9:00am. The ceremony is expected to end shortly before 10am. Members of the Australian and New Zealand communities in Japan are welcome to attend. As there is no public parking available on site, we recommend the use of public transportation.
COVID 19 is still prevalent in our community, so please take note of the following:
- Do not attend if you are unwell or show any signs of illness
- Wear face masks
- Use hand sanitiser as provided
- Maintain social distancing
- Follow all directions as given by Police or Staff
