The Australian Embassy in Tokyo is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced individual to join our team as an Executive Assistant. In this role, you will provide high level administrative and executive support to the Ambassador, Deputy Ambassador, and Minister Counsellor (Political), ensuring the effective and efficient operation of their office.
To succeed, you will need exceptional attention to detail, proven organisational and prioritisation skills, and outstanding communication abilities. You should also be proactive, flexible and capable of exercising a high level of discretion.
Employment is subject to the successful candidate being able to obtain and retain a Negative Vetting Level 1 Australian Government Security Clearance. To be eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance, applicants must be an Australian citizen. Citizens of New Zealand, UK, USA or Canada may also be able to obtain the appropriate Security Clearance.
