The Agriculture Team at the Australian Embassy in Tokyo is seeking a highly motivated professional to resolve technical market issues, undertake research and analysis, and report on developments in Australia-Japan agricultural trade.
Applicants must demonstrate high proficiency in both written and spoken Japanese and English. A background in agricultural or veterinary science is beneficial.

Defence Visits Support Officer - Job Ref – 1351/2025

The Defence Section at the Australian Embassy in Tokyo is seeking a highly motivated professional to support the planning and delivery of Australian Defence Organisation visits and engagements in Japan.
In this role, you will coordinate logistics, liaise with Japanese counterparts, manage briefing materials, and provide linguistic support to ensure successful high-level defence visits.
Applicants must demonstrate strong English and Japanese language skills, excellent organisational ability, and experience in managing complex events or visits. A Japanese driver’s licence is highly desirable.
