To commemorate the game between the Wallabies vs. Brave Blossoms (Japanese National Rugby Team) on 4 November at Yokohama’s Nissan Stadium, the Australian Embassy is pleased to be able to give away four tickets to the match. To enter the campaign, please comment on the Australian Embassy’s official Facebook page post (please click here) or alternatively post your quiz answer along with the hashtag #goAusRugby from your Twitter account. Applicants must be 20 years or older.
Participants are also encouraged to post pictures relating to Australia.

- Campaign Period: 12th October – 22nd October, 2017 (closes 23:59)
- Present being Given: Two pairs of ‘Lipovitan D Challenge Cup 2017’ tickets, for a total of four guests.
- How to Apply:
To enter the campaign, please comment on the Australian Embassy’s official Facebook page post (please click here) or alternatively post your quiz answer along with the hashtag #goAusRugby from your Twitter account. Participants are also encouraged to post a picture of Australia if desired.
- Please only one post per person either via Facebook or Twitter. Please refrain from posting on both.
- Applicants must be 20 years or older.
- When applying via Twitter, please set the account to ‘Public’. If the answer is private, it cannot be included in the lottery.
- This competition excludes the Australian Government staff and direct family members.
- Quiz: What is the nickname of the Australian Men’s and Women’s Rugby teams (both 15 member teams)? You can answer either in English or Japanese.
- Announcement of the Winners
- After the campaign period has finished, we will close the competition and decide the winners by random choice from among the comments and tweets.
- There will be one winner selected from Facebook, and one winner selected from Twitter.
- Winners will be notified via direct message from the Embassy after the campaign has finished. For Twitter users, please be sure to follow the Australian Embassy’s official account (@AustraliaInJPN).
- Please note that your win may become invalid in the event of not providing a correct shipping address. The shipping address is limited to Japan only.
- We do not accept questions or queries about the lottery or winning.
- Shipping of Goods
- Prize shipping will be scheduled on or after 24th October, 2017 (Tuesday).
- Prize shipping is only available to entries in Japan.
- The contents of prizes, shipping date/time, shipping method etc., cannot be specified.
- Precautions
- To submit entries, please agree to the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Privacy Policy and the guidelines expressed in this document. In the event of non-agreeance, you cannot apply for the lottery. It will be assumed that you agreed with the application guidelines if you participate.
- This campaign is organised by the Australian Embassy. The organisation has the power to change the application guidelines should it be necessary for successful operation.
- Applicants shall comply with the campaign operation method and shall not file an objection.
- We do not assume any responsibility for copyright infringement, intellectual property rights associated with the subject, infringement of portrait rights etc. In the unlikely event that a dispute should arise with a third party, this is the sole responsibility of the applicant and they will assume any associated costs.
- We do not accept questions regarding the lottery draw or winnings.
- Please be aware that dependent on your internet environment or if smartphones are used, the website accessibility may be altered.
- The fee for internet connection and communication is borne by the applicant.
- The rights and goods acquired by the winner (regardless of cost) cannot be transferred to a third party.
- Inappropriate use of the lottery, which acts contrary to the terms and conditions of the campaign, and/or fraudulent use (fabrication, identity fraud, multiple account entries etc.) will result in winning termination. Additionally, if the Embassy deems the application/winning as inappropriate, prize winnings may become invalid.
- Use of Personal Information
The personal information for individuals who have participated in the lottery will only be used for administrative purposes, such as notifying the winner and communicating about prize collection.
- Liability
In conjunction with the campaign guidelines, if a dispute should arise between the applicant and a third party, it is the responsibility of the applicant to resolve disputes accordingly. This includes additional expenses incurred.
- Disclaimer
We do not assume responsibility for any damages (including damaged caused by internet failures for each SNS, etc.) or for third party actions. Furthermore, if it is concluded that the applicant is in breach of the application guidelines, measures (including the blocking of accounts etc.) will be taken to ensure that the organisation is not responsible for any damages suffered by the applicant.
