The Australian and New Zealand Embassies will be hosting an ANZAC Day Memorial Service at the Commonwealth War Cemetery in Hodogaya, Yokohama on Saturday 25 April 2026 commencing at 10am.
The ceremony is open to the public, and the Australian and New Zealand communities in Japan are welcome to attend.
In the Australian section of the cemetery there are graves of 278 known and 3 unknown Australians including 10 Navy, 250 Army, 8 Air Force, and 10 merchant navy, while in the post war section there are 57 Australian Servicemen laid to rest.
