The Australian Embassy in Tokyo is seeking a highly motivated bilingual Consular and Passports Officer to join the Consular Team.
This role plays a vital part in delivering essential services that support the wellbeing and safety of Australian citizens abroad.

Consular work is fast-paced, demanding, and deeply rewarding. The successful applicant will demonstrate a proven aptitude to deliver high level client service, exceptional interpersonal skills and resilience. They’ll be able to cultivate strong working relationships and work flexibly in a fast-moving environment.

To maximise your chances of getting an interview, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the requirements of each selection criteria.

Please note the position may require some late night or weekend work when urgent consular cases arise out of hours.
