2024 Film "Picnic at Hanging Rock" 4K restored version in Japanese theatres

‘Picnic at Hanging Rock’ is a mystery film produced in 1975 by Australian director Peter Weir and based on a novel of the same name by Joan Lindsay. The story follows a group of schoolgirls and their teacher who disappear during their picnic trip to Hanging Rock in Victoria. The restored version came to Japanese theatres in May 2024.

2020 Australian film "Ride Like a Girl" release in Japan

Directed by Rachel Griffiths, ‘Ride Like a Girl’ is based on the true story of jockey Michelle Payne who was the first woman to win the Melbourne Cup in 2015.
